ASI Pty Ltd is owned by Oysters Tasmania and the South Australian Oyster Growers Association, with operations in both states and headquarters in Hobart. The company has delivered major benefits to its owners and has an exciting future in selective breeding of Pacific Oysters. Our mission is to collaboratively advance the Australian Pacific Oyster industry through genetic improvement.
Over the past six months, significant changes have been made to ASI’s unique business model and a new General Manager is in place. We are now looking for a “hands-on” Independent Chair who can lead the continued development of ASI by working with stakeholders and staff to refine the company’s value proposition.
