A new board; a new era for ASI

As part of the POMS breeding levy ASI committed to strengthening governance by appointment of a skills based board. A competitive process was undertaken to appoint a new Independent Chair and 2 Independent Directors. Whilst the calibre of applicants was very high the decision of the selection committee was unanimous as was the ratification of the interim board. To complete the new board the ASI Shareholder organisations TORC and SAORC/SAOGA were asked to nominate an industry based director.
